Every two years the International Association of Special Education provides a forum where practitioners, researchers, policy makers, and NGOs from around the world join their international colleagues to engage in lively and informed discussions about the current state of the education for children and youth with special needs. Topic areas include research, practice, policy and advocacy. The theme of this conference is “Addressing the Exceptional Needs of the Whole Child and Young Adult: Embracing the Future.”
Presenters represent over 40 countries and cover the spectrum of topics, issues, and interventions critical to the field today. Those who join us will learn about innovative programs, effective instructional strategies, research and its implications for practice, technological advances, and products and services that help meet the needs of special children youth.
